The Best Thanksgiving Side Dishes

The holiday season is approaching and so starts the food marathon. Here are some of the best Thanksgiving side dishes which will kick start your holidays with full mirth.

Burnt onion and roasted cauliflower is one of our favorite winter dish. Parmesan-Roasted Cauliflower is very easy to prepare. Toss the florets in olive oil with onion, thyme and garlic. Roast for 40 minutes at 425°F. Season with salt and pepper. Add parmesan and allow it to bake for few more minutes.

Thyme-Pear Gravy complements the burnished turkey very well. Stir chopped thyme and minced garlic in a heated saucepan with butter. Add flour and whisk until it becomes smooth. Slowly pour pear nectar to the gravy and bring to boil. Whisk constantly unless the gravy achieves desired thickness.

Have you tried Caramelized Onion with Apples? You will also need celery, parsnips, eggs, parsley, chicken broth and sage. Salt, pepper and garlic is necessary to enhance the taste.
